** crap box ** history ** the electronic knights *historical* pack series issue -11 * compiled and code by bifat * music ok3anos * gfx nero gosh, this was a hell of complicated issue with regard to compilation, configuration and testing! and to my deepest regret, a great many of productions had to be skipped... * 512 byte brigade by attentionwhore: next time please spend 1 or 2 bytes on compatibility... *sigh* * altair decrunch18 - was a hybrid filedemo/trackmo... *groan* * wondergal by joker - looks like out of memory on the standard config... *whine* * the return of the cube by goblins - crash... *sob* not all of them were really great productions, but it always saddens me to drop some productions unnecessarily... peek by spaceballs, which btw. I consider one outstanding piece of demomaking, required two compatibility options to work on as many machines as possible and without garbage on screen, unfortunately it still shows garbage halfway into the demo on A1200 with some accelerators and perhaps sometimes on my A3000/60... bomb by insane was harmless and required only turning off caches. by turning off caches I mean, like, really turning features off, also e.g. branch prediction and other stuff on higher cpus... sure, as long as they work on my reference rev.5 a500 512k+512k, demos pass the crapbox admission test. don't expect exceptions to be made, except maybe for you are insane and it's a really good production..! *wrap*
